As Kevin has mentioned in another thread, the Garry Shandling episode of Marc Maron's WTF became available today. I listened to it and found it interesting for a couple of reasons. One is that it's the worst recording of Shandling I've ever heard. He sounds extra nasally and phlegmy. Maron needs to consider microphones other than those Blue mics. But I did learn about Shandling. The prior episode to Shandling is Phil Rosenthal, one of the guys behind "Everybody Loves Raymond." Lots of good insight into television on that podcast too. I've found Greg Fitzsimmon's FitzDog radio less consistent, but his interview with Bill Lawrence was pretty good. Lawrence, who brought us "Scrubs" and worked on other TV shows, was pretty candid. I think people will like it.
