The former MSNBC reporter and anchor and frequent 9 a.m. "Today" show fill-in will become the Eye's chief White House correspondent and backup to Bob Schieffer on "Face the Nation," which in itself will be enough to put her high up in the anchor succession list (and more likely to replace Pelley than Schieffer):
