The NFL Network games, just as with ESPN Monday Night Football games, have
to be made available to a broadcast station in local markets (and Milwaukee
for Green Bay). This wouldn't change.

I don't see it going to the NFL Network, though, because the league is
looking to increase revenues and the early season NFL Thursday games on TNT
(pre-basketball season) or Versus (pre-hockey season) gets the league a lot
more money than just shipping the games to themselves.

And whoever gets the games, pick up Bob Papa. He was the unfortunate victim
in the NFL Network's change of the announcing crew. The guy had to put up
with Joe Theismann and Matt Millen. Really, anyone who survives that
deserves a chance to a decent announcing partner.

Yes, I'm a big Giants fan and Papa is their guy. Still, he's a great
listen.
