The Uncle Frank tribute was beautifully done. Maybe the best thing Kimmel
has ever done.

I still have Leno's 1994 eulogy for his dad on tape - and that may be *his*
best on-camera moment. (I wish I still had his 1993 eulogy for his mom - it
was sweet, but upsetting to watch because he was *really* having a hard time
holding it together.) And Ferguson's show after his dad died was really well
done, too.

Like you, I dread seeing what Dave might do after his mom dies. Then again,
Dave has already hinted that he may retire in a couple years, and judging
from the way Dorothy looked on her 90th birthday a few months ago, she may
last longer than the show.
