YES! I didn't watch live, but started watching from my TiVo and had to stop after about 45 (time shifted) minutes because the audio was driving me crazy. The live audio sounded like the microphones were housed inside tin cans, and there was this constant electronic buzzing every 15 seconds or so that reminded me of an old Mattel electronic football game I had as a kid.
FOX should be embarrassed by last night's telecast (for a number of reasons, not the least of which was the audio) and should be removed from the rotation for the foreseeable future. (Didn't FOX also screw up their last Emmy opportunity with the failed "Emmys in the Round" experiment?) -- TV or Not TV .... The Smartest (TV) People!
