I take some umbrage about one of the lines in the article in reference to Notre Dame's academic rigor:
“Because Notre Dame is a small school, you can’t hide athletes. Every student has to take the freshman curriculum, which includes some low- level calculus. You can’t set up a special sports management major like you can at Michigan.” As a degree holder in sports management from Michigan, while I can say its obviously not nuclear engineering, it was not a cakewalk. Worst part of the whole thing though was almost every class had mandatory attendance, which is pretty unheard of in college. -- TV or Not TV .... The Smartest (TV) People!
