When I first started watching it with my then girlfriend in the
mid-90s, I assumed, since it aired at 11:00 PM ET slot on WTVS in
Detroit, that there were a boatload of episodes (since it ran from
1972-85). I was surprised when I found it only ran 68 episodes. This
was my first experience with the size of series orders in British
television.

I'm a little busy this morning: are there any people left in that
particular tontine?
