Who wants to buy Hulu? Dish and Google.
http://www.businessinsider.com/guess-who-made-the-highest-bid-for-hulu-2011-9 Google came with the largest bid at around $4 billion, but it also came with a list of demands. The largest no-strings-attached bid was Dish Network at $1.9 billion, which wound up disappointing the Hoolooigans, who apparantly hoped for more than $2 million, but without the list of demands Google wanted. (Though of course, the Holooigans may just simply not like the Googoons. I'm making them sound like races of aliens, now.) BI speculates that Hulu is simply become an empty shell as the networks pull the free content in favor for subscription money, which may hurt the value of the buy in the long run (thus the reason for Google's list of demands). This looks like the message I wrote 10 days ago. Maybe the question should be "who cares about Hulu?" -- TV or Not TV .... The Smartest (TV) People!
