I believe it was a new version of "On Golden Pond" that befuddled Dave so.
For me, the most bizarre incident I saw was on Letterman a number of
years ago, when Dave showed a clip from a recently-aired CBS movie
that included several unedtied BS's but when Dave said it, he was
bleeped. Showing the clip on the show: unbleeped; Dave repeating the
word: bleeped.
Wasn't that a live performance of the play
that had permission to use the unedited word?
