I adore the fact that KCBS2 in Los Angeles (the #2 market for TV on
the f-ing planet) used the wire copy. That -- I think -- says it all,
but even if it didn't, keep in mind this is the station that shares
production and talent with KCAL9 in order to supposedly provide better
coverage for both stations. I suppose if they weren't sharing
personnel, they'd have just tossed a FAX copy of the wire story at a
camera.
