This is not five stations in the same market using the same phrase. This is one station in each market using the phrase. This would be the same if it was aired over CBS national news in every market. The phrase is a simple and effective way to convey that O'Brien is doing something unconventional. We're not talking about a story that's going to change someone's life. Use your resources wisely. Some stories are important. Some are almost throw away. This is closer to the latter.
