Television and radio newscasts today, 10 years ago and 20 years ago are stuffed with copy from The Associated Press -- news, sports, even weather -- and only the tiniest fraction of it is attributed to The Associated Press. Very little of it is rewritten. And if they rewrite the CBS copy, that gives them more credibility? The only way to make it more credible is to call and report it themselves.
