The recent two-parter entitled "Engaged" is worth a look. The tone of these episodes is slightly more gritty than a typical episode of the series, and the story has a bit more weight to it. The last act falls a little flat (I'd venture to say if we could unearth the script of the first draft, we'd see a very different ending); nevertheless, as a standalone installment of the show it works well, and it is nice to see even a little bit of underlying substance entered into a procedural drama.
