I'm not anti-apology. I'm anti-empty-apology. If The Roots actually feel bad that Michelle Bachmann feels bad, then yes they should apologize. But they don't. They made the choice to disrespect someone who is disrespectful towards most of the populace. I'm against giving the dopey broad a public forum for her crazy, so my previous post wherein Fallon owes an apology for that is not entirely hyperbolic. To me, this incident further illustrates how everyone involved -- Fallon, the Roots, Bachmann -- is basically a whore for attention. And in the end, Bachmann gets to play the role of the conservative victim -- a role she enjoys playing. So she wins. And losers never need to apologize to the winners. > She is a sitting > member of congress, and deserves some basic respect. I respect individual people, not titles. No politician currently leading this government has any respect for me or for the average citizens of this nation. They do not get a free pass because of their title... not when they are actively screwing up the United States. -- Kevin M. (RPCV) -- TV or Not TV .... The Smartest (TV) People!
