As you may have guessed from the fact that I was mainly worried about my satellite dish in my earlier message -- my experience has not matched that of Kevin's. At my place in Sherman Oaks and on my commute to/from Burbank, I've had no power outages, seen no downed trees, and have had no low-flying aircraft buzzing around. But I am glad my apartment building had the trees in front severely pruned a couple months ago.
