I remember watching an episode of Soul Train from the early 90s. Cornelius was
still hosting, and interviewed a pair of rappers who couldn't have been more
than 21. And I was astounded at the level of conversation Cornelius had with
them. He got them, and they got him. I thought of a certain host of another
musical program on Saturday mornings, and how incredibly out of touch he became
as the show went into the 80s and 90s.

Sadly, sometimes the demons win.
