But, as I mentioned, I find the show to be most interesting when Handler herself is on screen. I wonder if the odd acting style and weird timing is due to Handler though. She has a certain presence - kind of like Seinfeld (though not nearly as much) that allows a style that basically is winking to the audience about her awareness that she is an actor in a silly sit-com, to work (ish).
