Stephen Mangan, the actor who ably portrays Dirk on the Beeb and was a
very droll part of the late lamented "Green Wing" (the UK answer to
"Scrubs"), is on a bit of a roll. I assume he will be resuming his co-
starring duties in the wonderfully, creepily accurate inside-TV romp
"Episodes," alongside Tamsin Grieg and Matt "Joey" LeBlanc. I have to
believe that Showtime renewed "Episodes," which brought deserved kudos
to LeBlanc for playing a less-than-flattering version of himself, and
I would recommend the series to any TVorNotTVer with a sense of humor
and even the slightest knowledge of how American network execs and
their flunkies operate.
