Mr. Rogers is easy to make fun of. His mannerisms, voice, and demeanor were always ripe for parody. But his brand of children's entertainment is lacking in television today. A man who could basically stand there for 22 minutes and talk, sing, and put on a low-tech puppet show, but still hold the attention of his audience. Who does that in 2012? And who can so instantly connect with children in a natural, healthy way?
