Fred Rogers' birthday was last week, and I noted on my various social spaces
that the world could use him now, more than ever. I still get tears in my eyes
when I watch him accept his Lifetime Emmy, asking for and receiving 10 seconds
for the listener to think of the people who loved and supported them. The
silence in that room was deafening and powerful and wonderful.
