I had a long conversation with an upstairs neighbor who's been an extra in movies and televisions for over 25 years (he's been in "The Good Shepard," "Ghost Town," "Big," "Loose Cannons," and a whole lot more).
So he was talking about spending a day working at "30 Rock" earlier this week (I didn't realize that he's one of the executives who serves as Baldwin's boss on the show). So I asked him what the atmosphere is like on the set, and he said loose, friendly (unlike the more dramatic series, like "The Good Wife," where he also works), and had quite some nice words to say about Alec -- says that he likes to work fast, and starts to get a little impatient by the 5th take. But overall, there's no huge ego that tries to intimidate others.
