Well, no one's commented openly about it, but we all remember he had a serious bout with cancer, right? My assumption is that the cancer has returned and he's getting treatment. He seemed to have addressed this with a column on a show about people dealing with cancer. I vaguely recall he wrote about it as a cancer survivor.
