Reese Schoenfeld, the guy who helped run CNN when they started, for years in his blog called on Roger Ailes to distribute Sky News UK in the U.S. as an alternative to FNC. Unfortunately, Ailes knows his brand and paid about as much attention to Schoenfeld as he has just about everyone outside of the Republican Party (and maybe the Republicans, since it can be argued that Fox News is running the Republican Party more than the National Committee).
