I'm not sure how I feel about NBC trying to double-down on The Voice next season - yes, it's a ratings success, but running two cycles back to back might drain fan enthusiasm. AI, for whatever anyone thinks of it, has remained as strong as it's been because FOX (in a rare bout of common sense) knows better than to try to run 2 cycles a year - which is why there's room for both AI and X-Factor. > > I personally like The Voice, but I'm concerned about Millionaire-style burnout if they try to do 2 cycles next season...
