I can speak from experience here; MLB and the NFL have nice, extensively stocked press sites, including bitmap and vector graphics of all the team logos, logos for special games (Super Bowl, All-Star Game, etc.), color specifications, and everything a graphic artist could ever ask for. As far as I've been able to find (and admittedly it's been a couple years since I went looking), neither the NHL nor NBA have anything similar. You're pretty much on your own. When I needed the new Pistons logo a couple of years ago, it was easy enough to download a .PDF of their press kit, open it in Illustrator and find the vector version of their logo. But that takes work, and most local news people (even those in the second largest market) seem to be allergic to work. -- -- Ben Scripps benscri...@gmail.com -- TV or Not TV ....
