This was also mentioned in the TV news piece I saw. So far what I have is this: Sheena Monnin participated in the Miss USA pageant and accused the organizers of fraud on her Facebook page. She did not lodge a claim of fraud with law enforcement and nobody so far has asked for an external audit. The Miss USA organization says they investigated the matter and found no wrongdoing. Their credibility is limited by their agenda of wanting to keep the pageant going without distractions. Trump says he will sue. And that is what Trump does whenever anybody questions him, so that is of little credibility, although in this case an aggressive response is probably the right one. Then the pageant organizers claim that Monnin quit for a reason she did not even mention. I don't get that: if she felt so strongly about having a TG woman compete that she felt she had to quit, wouldn't she just post that? It seems to me that this story is just fluff and will remain so until there is an outside investigation. It's possible that pageant sponsors will demand one to end any whiff of corruption. I saw a Pittsburgh Post-Gazette online article about Trump's reaction and in the first comment at the bottom someone asked if Trump will demand to see her birth certificate and in the second comment someone asked Trump to verify his hair. -- TV or Not TV ....
