Anyway, in an unrelated Miss Universe scandal -- oh, and this one is hilarious -- over on the other side of the globe, Miss New Zealand may be forced to relinquish her crown. It turns out she is not a citizen (natural born or otherwise) of New Zealand. She was born in Africa. But the pageant organizers took it upon themselves to cover this up, and let her compete but on the condition that she wasn't to win. Of course she won (or she wouldn't be for the moment Miss New Zealand), because they couldn't even rig a contest correctly.
