The big shock is "Louie" not up for comedy. I'm sure that it's the cable placement and the argument you could make that it's not really a sitcom, but still...
And speaking of FX, putting "American Horror Story" in the miniseries category while "Downton Abbey"'s in the drama series category is very weird. I'm guessing that that was FX and Ryan Murphy's choice, but it's almost like putting "Glee" in the comedy category. And one would think that Hugh Laurie would have received a hail-and-farewell nomination for "House."
