Maybe the nominations calendar doesn't necessarily help Louie, as these nods
cover the time for Season 2 rather than the current Season 3.

I'm guessing either Game Change or Hatfield and McCoys will take most of the
Miniseries/Movie trophies.  That said, I'm rooting for Sherlock (Scandal in
Belgravia up for Best Miniseries/Movie, and Cumberbatch and Freeman have acting
nods).

The big shock is "Louie" not up for comedy.  I'm sure that it's the cable
placement and the argument you could make that it's not really a sitcom, but
still...

And speaking of FX, putting "American Horror Story" in the miniseries category
while "Downton Abbey"'s in the drama series category is very weird.  I'm
guessing that that was FX and Ryan Murphy's choice, but it's almost like
putting "Glee" in the comedy category.

And one would think that Hugh Laurie would have received a hail-and-farewell
nomination for "House."
