According to Bill Carter, CNN says that they are considering doing documentary-style programming on weekends like the new Anthony Bourdain series, which is nothing unusual--consider MSNBC's prison documentaries or BBC World News' weekend documentary programmes (although they still do at least ten minutes of news every hour)--we're not talking "Survivor" or "Idol" here:
