The web site run by the former "Dancing With the Stars" contestant is
criticizing the selection of ABC's Martha Raddatz as moderator for
tonight's Vice Presidential debate because President Obama attended her
wedding to now-FCC chair Julius Genachowski in 1991 when she was working
for NPR (they divorced six years later)--the Commission on Presidential
Debates effectively says that Wingnut Who Used to Wear a Bow Tie is full of
hooey:

And as for using "Dancing" contestant as a term of derision of journalistic
capability, I realize that a then-BBC anchor won "Strictly Come Dancing"
the first seas--uh, series, but also realize that a former BBC anchor sang
and danced on "Morecombe and Wise" and another anchor said "lemon curry?"
on "Monty Python"--Mr. Bowie, an admitted "SCD" fan, can tell us if any
other journos have appeared on the UK version.

And I won't even bring up "Children in Need." Except this year, Amelia
Harris-Lindsay. In a sexy evening gown. I don't care if she can't sing.
And that she's the sports department.
