Rick Steves owns property and sometimes stays in a very conservative northeastern Nevada community. At first blush you'd think they would be too conservative for him, but it's also got a strong Libertarian bent and I wonder if that is what attracted him. Well, that and the fact that he probably got nice wilderness property for a quarter of what it would cost him in say Colorado.
