I think we are going to start seeing a real discussion of gun violence now, including both reasonable and responsible gun regulation as well as more effective enforcement of existing gun laws, with a main focus on what Costas originally brought up, which was not laws at all, but a culture that glorifies and elevates the role of guns. There is only one person who can really bring this discussion front and center, and it is the President, and he is going to have to find a way to do this, probably not today or this week, but in the first part of the new year. On more of a TV note - I am seeing footage of young elementary school children from that school being interviewed by what appears to be local news reporters. I'm not sure if I am more appalled by the judgement of the news reporters or the parents - either way, the last things these kids need to be doing right now is to be used as tabloid fodder. -- TV or Not TV ....
