The whimsical nature of the header became somewhat troubling to me as the
day wore on. Of course the original thread had to do with Costas commentary
two weeks ago on the NFL player who murdered his wife and then shot himself
at the KC Chief's practice facility, so Costas was perhaps the most likely
broadcaster imaginable to bring up gun control. Kevin reasonably added on
to that thread this morning, asking if Costas would be talking about
today's events on NBC (I have googled it a couple of times this evening and
have not been able to find anything from him about it yet).

Obviously, lots of other people have been advocating for gun control, both
before and during today's tragedy.
