Barbara Casey, a former employee of American Humane, the people who monitor film and TV sets to assure "No Animal Was Harmed" (R), is suing the AHA and HBO, claiming that she was fired from her job monitoring the set of the horse racing drama series because she wanted to report the instances witnessed of abuse against the horses on the set (which eventually caused the series' cancellation after three horses used on the series died):
