Considering that Shales blogs on Roger Ebert's space, it may be Ebert or his Chicago Sun-Times editor Jim Emerson who may be keeping your post off (the Sun-Times runs Ebert's web site, since the paper is still his home and he is the only real star left at the Sun-Times).
