I TiVo Gene Rayburn & Co. every weekday morning at 5:30 from GSN and enjoy it with my breakfast. Kevin's right: The simplicity of both the set and the game make it much more fun to watch. The "glitz and glamour" of the more recent game shows quite honestly give me a headache and I find no joy in watching them (although GSN does seem to rerun a lot of those in the daytime hours). Reading Kevin's post, I realize that the only elaboration "Match Game" had was the revolving platform with the contestants on one side and the Super Match on the other, the neon sign with the amount of the exact celebrity match question, and the stylized (?) titles at the top of the show which looked like it was illuminated with a set of Christmas tree lights. Almost too cheesy to *not* be fun. -- -- TV or Not TV .... The Smartest (TV) People! You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "TV or Not TV" group.
