The local business coverage has wondered out loud if this means a loss of studio/jobs for the Charlotte, NC area where SPEED is currently headquartered. Fox stated that they would continue to use Charlotte as a studio and production facility. We'll see how long that lasts. More speculation has Fox using the SPEED studio for local news, once Charlotte goes Fox O&O in July.
