I have heard that CBS is kicking the tires of Sony Pictures, which has been rumored to be for sale for a long time as Sony seems to want out of the movie/TV program business. Considering that Sony's producing "Beverly Hills Cop" the series, it might be advantageous for them--and they would have total control over "Wheel of Fortune" and "Jeopardy!" (although Disney would probably put the screws on the syndication division and the owned stations to find another show or shows for access--could we have all four network-owned station groups running tab/entertainment news shows in access?).
