I don't disagree, but I think the day is fast approaching when we will be forced to have a national (even international) conversation about who owns the right to distribute media for fair use. I could name about two dozen TV series that ran multiple seasons but are unavailable in reruns, DVD, illegal torrents, or any of the online media distributors. These shows were watched my millions, and I'd like to watch them again, but studios and networks aren't releasing them and won't allow others to do so either. I'd like to disrupt the video business, to get them to recognize the demise of the standard network model and the standard physical distribution models -- however, as others have noted, tossing another company in the mix that is going to hammer out deals that won't apply across-the-board and ultimately adds further restrictions (like content available exclusively through one service), doesn't seem to be the best solutions to me. -- Kevin M.
