Lately, for some reason the YouTube "Recommended for You" E-mails I get have included this video on how to try to dodge the guy who comes to collect the license fee that keeps the BBC from having to run ads or pledge drives:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xfHRhXW1hno&feature=em-subs_digest-vrecs I do know that people have always tried to dodge the license fee and that it may've been more widespread some years ago than it is now. The poster, "BantheBBC," says that he is presenting "A channel dedicated to exposing BBC bias, censorship, extortion and paedophilia" (that's a reference to the Jimmy Savile affair, I assume). I can't really tell from the description to the clip, but are these guys (who I'm sure are a very small minority) extreme right, extreme left or both? I call upon our British correspondents for any thoughts. -- -- TV or Not TV .... The Smartest (TV) People!
