Not only did the New York Yankees play "Sweet Caroline" after the third in
their game against Arizona (as a few Major League Baseball parks did
yesterday) in a show of support for the city, and not only did they create
and display a nicely-designed icon for last night's game that was shown on
the video boards in center field, but Yes (their fully-owned cable channel)
*stayed at the stadium* for the half-inning to show it, forsaking the ad
break.

When I heard about the "Sweet Caroline" part this morning, I thought, "It'd
have been nice if they stayed at the ballpark during the broadcast for that
half-inning." I never thought in a million years it'd happen.
