The Tribune-owned "superstation" best known for bringing the Cubs and Sox
to the nation has picked up the drama series "Salem" (as in the witches)
from Brannon Braga ("Star Trek" shows, "24") for 13 episodes for fall 2014
and has indicated that they are in the market for more scripted series--but
in Chicago, where WGN America is only available to small dish subscribers,
will the show air on the good old number 9 (supposedly on either Saturday
or Sunday, when The CW is dark)?:
