Having typed this out while trying to think this out, the only thing that makes 
sense is that the break between the end of the news and the start of Leno is 
preprogrammed. I assume all the local breaks during Leno and Fallon use 
inaudible cues. Why wouldn't that last break be manually be cued as well? Am I 
missing something here?
