So I see Kevin and I are not the only ones whose main reaction to The View adding McCarthy was concern about her dangerous advocacy of quack science (e.g. http://www.mediabistro.com/tvnewser/controversy-surrounds-jenny-mccarthy-hire-on-the-view_b188998 ). I am not one to get involved in casual boycotts (and I have been boycotting The View since it started anyway), but this is one case where I would like to see a group of mothers put some pressure on ABC or its advertisers. At the very least we should get some assurance from ABC that McCarthy will not be allowed to use this program to push her views on inoculations and Autism. -- -- TV or Not TV ....
