Expect a few more pieces on the topic like this one from Vulture. While its take can be gleaned from the URL, I don't expect everyone to be of the same opinion.

The piece does get into some speculation about what could have happened if J-Stew left the show without having Oliver (or really anyone else affiliated with TDS) do a trial run in the chair. I found part of it annoying, but I could easily see a noisy conversation over getting a political name to take over the hosting chair. It misses the whole media criticism aspect of TDS, but it seems that a lot of people do.
