Huy Fong, the best-known producer of Sriracha, opened a second plant a few 
months ago in Irwindale, CA, tripling the capacity of its original 
Rosemead, CA facility to feed the hunger of storekeepers and restaurants 
for the pungent condiment, only to be threatened by nearby residents 
irritated by all things chili... a judge could decide today (11/22) on a 
town suit to close the plant for failing to implement air-quality 
protection measures... the company's chief exec replied that harvesting 
season for the peppers is the fall, and spoiled chilies ain't gonna help 
his bottom line any...
