At least initially, I think some of the playoffs would remain on CBC, but the preference is likely to shift. Currently CBC gets to pick 1st, 2nd, 4th and 6th, while TSN gets 3, 5, 7 and 8 in the first round. That contract also removed CBC's exclusivity for Canadian teams.
That order is likely to be reversed, with Sportsnet's main channel getting priority. However, I don't think CBC is likely to be completely shut out, as Sportsnet's Blue Jays commitment kicks in at this point, giving Rogers one less outlet to use for NHL games. Now, four years from now, all bets are off.
