If you've seen YouTube comments (prior to the incursion of Google+) then
you have some frame of reference as to what nonsense Twitter fan backlash
is like. If there is a reasoning, which there isn't, it is thus: Fans
speculate the REAL reason Cote left is because of friction amongst the
cast, absent any supporting evidence to prove this theory. Because Pauley
is the other female in the cast, and because she is responsive on Twitter,
much of their anger has been unleashed her direction (because, in the eyes
of these sorts of people, it is easy to assume two women can't get along).
Weatherly, Carrol, and Dietzen (sp?) are all on Twitter, but not nearly as
active, and because Ziva and Tony had such on-screen chemistry, they assume
he isn't the problem (clearly they never watched Moonlighting for an
example of on-screen chemistry conflicting with off-screen anger).
