Reaction to the program that I've seen has been generally positive.  What pans
I've read either complain about the way Giordano Bruno's case was
characterized in the program, or weren't likely to care for the program
to begin with.

This is the first of 13 episodes.  The material may be beneath the 11th grader
because it's an introduction, with the basic theme of how freaking small we are.

Ratings wise, early numbers indicate more people tuned in Resurrection on ABC.
Of course, Sundays are when everything is on anymore, so the competition was
thick.  FOX and NatGeo will repeat it throughout the week, and it's supposed to
be available online later today.

Subject: [TV orNotTV] Cosmos Talk

I am in between classes, but I checked in here this afternoon to see if there
was any post-gaming on Cosmos from last night (though maybe some are watching
it on cable tonight?).

I watched it with my 11th grade son - he kind of liked it, but he thought a lot
of it was already beneath him, so I wonder what level of education they are
aiming it at. I also think they are a little too obsessed with their visual
effects, which these days have a lot less of a gee whiz impact. Still thought
it was pretty cool though.
